Magical Evening at The Alnwick Garden Raises Funds for Charitable Programmes
The Alnwick Garden was transformed into a whimsical Wonderland for Alice’s Enchanted Garden Party, hosted by Sage Wealth Management, which raised almost £3,000 in support of The Alnwick Garden Trust and the St. James's Place Charitable Foundation.
The after-hours event offered families and gardening enthusiasts a rare chance to explore the Garden in a magical new light, inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Guests were welcomed into an evening filled with playful surprises, from lively character encounters to garden games with a twist.
One of the highlights of the night was the Dodo Dash, where crowds gathered to cheer on their ducks as they raced down the Sage Wealth Management Grand Cascade. Performers from CAST Academy brought extra sparkle to the evening with captivating dance routines, while Wonderland-themed clues and adventures kept families entertained across the grounds.
Funds raised will go directly towards the Trust’s charitable programmes, which include tackling social isolation, supporting individuals with complex needs, and creating educational and inclusive opportunities across the region.
The evening closed with thanks to everyone who attended and supported the event, with special recognition for CAST Academy for their outstanding performances.
